The Guyana Economic Development Trust is a fiscally sponsored project of The Social Good Fund. Through fiscal sponsorship, Social Good promotes and cultivates projects that positively impact and develop local communities. Social Good, a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit, works to help others, like The Trust, start philanthropic efforts by enabling them to receive financial support and by enabling tax deductibility for donors providing that support. Social Good fiscal sponsorship allows philanthropic visions to come to life quickly and efficiently, making the world a better place.
The Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company
The Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GTT) is the largest provider of telecommunication services in Guyana, South America, with a subscriber base exceeding three hundred thousand in a country with an average population of seven hundred thousand. GTT is the exclusive sponsor of the Guyana Innovation Prize.
Caribbean Philanthiropic Alliance
The CariPhilAlliance fosters partnership and collaboration with Caribbean corporate leaders, foundations, individual philanthropists and others to foster sustainable development in the region. The CariPhilAlliance harnesses financial and other resources to accelerate achievement of the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and connects Caribbean philanthropists in order to build a learning community that engages in strategic giving related to the SDGs that are linked to the Caribbean’s developmental priorities.
Iwokrama International Center
The Iwokrama International Centre for Rain Forest Conservation and Development(IIC) is an international not-for-profit organisation, governed by an International Board of Trustees and managed by a professional team of around seventy permanent staff in Georgetown and at the Iwokrama River Lodge and Research Centre at Kurupukari. The IIC’s Patron is HRH The Prince of Wales. IIC was established in 1996 under a joint mandate from the Government of Guyana and the Commonwealth Secretariat to manage the Iwokrama forest, a unique reserve of 371,000 hectares of rainforest, “in a manner that will lead to lasting ecological, economic and social benefits to the people of Guyana and to the world in general.”

The Vision of the Caribbean Alternative Investment Association (CARAIA) is to create and develop a highly integrated non-traditional alternative investment ecosystem in the Caribbean. This vision will become a reality by carrying out our mission of increasing potential for local and cross-country business growth, accelerating the learning process on industry best practices and increasing the voice & visibility of the region in promoting Alternative Investments.
Guyana School Of Agriculture
The Guyana School of Agriculture (GSA) is a post-secondary college of agricultural education in Guyana, established in 1963. GSA offers two-year diploma and certificate courses. The School offers programs in Agro-Processing, Livestock Farming and Crop Farming. There are two campuses: The first is at Mon Repos, Demerara, while the other is in Cotton Field Essequibo Coast.

Engineering for Change
Engineering for Change (E4C), is a U.S. based knowledge organization, digital platform and a community of over 1 million dedicated to preparing, educating and activating the international engineering workforce to improve the quality of life of underserved communities around the world. We do this by providing resources and platforms that accelerate the development of impactful solutions and ensure public health and safety around the globe. Jointly founded by leading engineering societies and based at American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), E4C has attracted the support of a variety of partners, including non-profits, multilaterals and corporations. Our global community believes that engineering can change the world.
The University of Guyana
The University of Guyana (UG) opened its doors in 1963 with only 164 students. Since then it has graduated many thousands who have gone on to successful careers in Guyana, the Caribbean and the world. As Guyana’s sole national higher education institution, UG operates under the assumption that all people are entitled to a higher education. With more than 60 undergraduate and graduate programs, the University of Guyana is a force for education, enterprise, and research throughout the Caribbean.
The University of Guyana School of Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation
The University of Guyana School of Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation (SEBI)’s simple mission is to educate and develop within students the skills needed to become innovative managers and entrepreneurial leaders. SEBI offers undergraduate and Master’s programs as well as short, and professional courses designed to fill skill gaps with entrepreneurs, business professionals, and government employees. SEBI expects that with the skills and competencies learned through its programs, students will contribute to the social vibrancy and economic advancement of Guyana.
